Spiegelmans "Maus" is a great example of an oral history. One the main criteria that creates ambience of an oral history is the interview. In Maus the voice of the story is from the perspective of the son interviewing the father mouse. Another criteria of an oral history that is shown in Maus is the history of events that took place in a certain location. This is shown on page 14 when father mouse describes the moving of the mountains and the strain put on the bodies of the participants of this event.
