The Stone Stallion
The section of 'The Stone Horse' I am particularly drawn to lies in Lopez's part 3 on pages 10 -12. This section is reflective and emotional description and it touches me more than any other part of this piece. I believe that experinces are more so what you can take from them, rather than what happens and lines such as 'I could not write down what I was thinking when I was with the horse. It would have seemed disrespectful, and it would have required another kind of attention.' linking to all of the thoughts this horsely encounter brought upon him just shows that he truely grew from this experince. Thiis why this section meant the most to me.
